Support veritree’s Finance function as a Junior Accountant, owning Accounts Payable while exploring AI-driven workflow automation across the team.
This detail-oriented position supports month-end close, sales tax filings, and Controller reporting. You will use Float and Beanworks, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and help improve accurate, productive financial processes. The role also includes piloting modern AI tools for recurring finance workflows.
Key Responsibilities: Own coding, approvals, and payment processing across the AP lifecycle
Process invoices, credit cards, and employee expenses
Maintain vendor files and monitor the AP inbox
Prepare weekly AP reports and support cash flow forecasting
Pilot AI solutions for recurring finance tasks
Requirements: One to two years of progressive accounting experience
Accounting, Finance, or related bachelor’s degree
Solid accounting principles and month-end process knowledge
Strong Excel or Google Sheets abilities and attention to detail
Interest in AI tools and automated workflows
