Operate heavy collection equipment for GFL while delivering safe residential waste service and productive recycling collection on assigned routes.
As a Residential Driver, you represent GFL’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and premier customer service. You will operate Rear Pack trucks, hydraulic packer systems, and compaction equipment. Daily inspections, trip logs, route reporting, and regulatory compliance support dependable operations.
Key Responsibilities: Operate Rear Pack trucks safely on residential routes
Collect waste and recycling according to route schedules
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily
Operate hydraulic and compaction systems properly
Report hazards, incidents, and mechanical write-ups promptly
Requirements: Valid DZ or AZ Commercial Driver’s License
Clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR
Minimum one year commercial driving experience
Ability to operate heavy collection vehicles safely
Flexibility for early starts and operational overtime
Bring commercial driving, equipment operation, and safety inspection skills to GFL’s residential collection operations and customer service standards.
