Design Azure Databricks streaming solutions as a Senior Data Engineer with Sobeys, supporting full-time hybrid work from Stellarton or Mississauga. This Senior Data Engineer works within Sobeys’ Data Integration Hub and Integration and COEs department. You will translate data requirements into designs and implementations using Spark, Python, Azure Databricks, DLT, structured streaming, and scalable ingestion frameworks. The work supports major program deliverables and operational systems. Key Responsibilities:

Enhance and maintain the Data Integration Hub Translate data requirements into solution designs and implementations Develop Azure Databricks streaming and event-driven solutions Optimize solution performance and costs Mentor junior engineers and advise leadership Requirements:

Five or more years developing with Spark Solid Azure Databricks, DLT, and structured streaming knowledge Experience building scalable data ingestion frameworks Experience with Unity Catalog and resilient pipelines Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and test-driven development experience Bring Azure Databricks, streaming, Spark, and optimization expertise to Sobeys’ Data Integration Hub as a Senior Data Engineer.
