This intermediate Structural Engineer supports senior engineers on concrete dams, hydroelectric facilities, hydraulic structures, and renewable energy infrastructure. The work includes structural calculations, drawings, specifications, technical reports, and field services. You will also contribute to project delivery, proposals, and client presentations.
Key Responsibilities: Support structural engineers on dams and hydroelectric facility projects
Complete design calculations, specifications, and technical documentation
Coordinate structural drawings with designers and drafters




Provide construction inspections and quality monitoring support
Manage assigned tasks against cost, quality, and schedule requirements
Requirements: Degree in structural engineering from an accredited university
Professional Engineer designation in a Canadian province
Four to six years of engineering design experience
Proficiency with STAAD.Pro or SAP2000 and Microsoft Office
Robust English communication and structural analysis capabilities
Apply structural engineering, analysis, and hydropower knowledge while supporting Stantec projects from its Hamilton office.
