Lead electrical and instrumentation maintenance at Weyerhaeuser’s Timberstrand® plant in Kenora, Ontario, with troubleshooting and team leadership responsibilities. This permanent salaried position supports 24/7 manufacturing operations.
The Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor leads Electricians, Process Control Technicians, and contractors. You will plan daily activities, support safety and quality, and maintain equipment and buildings. The position reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and uses maintenance resources, inventory systems, and technical training.
Key Responsibilities: Lead daily electrical team activities across plant operations
Identify safety issues and address contractor concerns proactively
Plan electrical work to minimize production impacts
Apply troubleshooting methods supporting uptime, volume,



and quality
Assign maintenance resources and manage inventory using computer programs
Requirements: Minimum three years supervising in an industrial workplace
Trades certification or post-secondary technology or engineering diploma
Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and electronic communication
Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with CMMS, SAP, or process control is advantageous
Support Weyerhaeuser’s Timberstrand® manufacturing team through electrical leadership, maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and associate development.
