Lead high-performance hardware design at Broadcom in Ottawa, owning circuit development, PCB layout, and product validation across the lifecycle.
As Staff Hardware Engineer, you will technically lead a design team developing electronic products. You will own critical solution elements while collaborating with Hardware, ASIC, Signal, Mechanical, Thermal, Diagnostic, Packaging, and Manufacturing engineers. The work spans product inception through volume production.
Key Responsibilities: Lead design teams developing ultra-high-performance electronic products
Own BOM creation and vendor negotiation participation
Design circuits and boards for product solutions
Develop and validate a product range
Support customer trials, field issues, and product sustaining
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Eight or more years of experience
Experience placing large high-powered system-on-chips
Deep understanding and experience in PCB board layout
Complex product ownership through volume production
Bring electrical engineering leadership, PCB layout expertise, and lifecycle ownership to Broadcom's Ottawa hardware team.
