Benefits: Extended Group Health Benefits (after 90 days) | Discretionary Retention BonusWe are recruiting a reliable and hardworking Concrete All-Rounder on behalf of a premier, well-established concrete contractor in the Greater Edmonton area. Specializing in high-end residential and commercial concrete projects, our client has built a reputation for excellence across flatwork, driveways, patios, commercial slabs, grade beams, and decorative finishes.Whether you have foundational concrete experience or are a seasoned finisher, this role offers year-round stability, a strong team environment, and competitive compensation.Key Responsibilities
This is a versatile, hands-on role where you will support projects through every phase of the pour and finish cycle:

- Site Preparation: Base prep, subgrade compaction, gravel leveling, rebar placement, and wire mesh installation.
- Formwork & Carpentry: Setting up, aligning, securing, and stripping wood and metal forms for footings, slabs, walkways, and curbs.
- Pouring & Finishing: Spreading, screeding, bull floating, hand floating, edging, brooming, and applying specialized finishes (scaled to your experience level).
- Equipment Operation:



Operating power tools, cut-off saws, plate compactors, finish tools, and related trade equipment safely.
- General Site Operations: Site setup, teardown, sweeping, tool maintenance, and general labor duties to ensure smooth project flow.

Shift Schedule & Working Hours
- Summer / Peak Season: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Fall / Winter / Spring: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM 4:30 PM

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Hands-on experience working in a concrete pouring, flatwork, or general concrete construction environment.
- Skillset: Familiarity with formwork, rebar tying, concrete tools, and flatwork prep techniques.
- Work Ethic: Physically fit, punctual, and willing to tackle all site tasksfrom precision finishing to site prep and cleanup.
- Licensing: Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation to local job sites or shop meeting points.

Compensation & Package
- Hourly Rate: $27.00 to $45.00 per hour, directly aligned with your concrete background, tool proficiency, and finishing skills.
