As Team Lead, you will manage a pod of Fraud Investigators within Wealthsimple’s Security and Risk group. You will guide daily operations, oversee complex queues, and protect investigative quality while meeting case-closure SLAs. Your work will connect fraud detection, coaching, documentation, and cross-functional defense improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations for a pod of Fraud Investigators
Conduct one-on-ones, side-by-sides, and investigative coaching
Oversee complex fraud queues and case-closure SLAs
Escalate and resolve ambiguous or high-dollar investigations




Lead calibration sessions and document emerging fraud typologies
Requirements: Three-plus years of hands-on backend fraud investigations experience
Experience with banking, payments, account takeovers, or digital assets
Proven mentoring, coaching, or peer leadership experience
Deep understanding of fraud typologies and financial ledgers
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Bring decisive leadership, fraud expertise, and solid investigative judgment to Wealthsimple’s Fraud Investigations team.
