As a Principal Engineer on Masabi’s Architecture team, you will guide technical direction across engineering. You will design scalable services, strengthen data strategy, and contribute hands-on through code, reviews, and delivery. The work supports Masabi’s Justride platform.
Key Responsibilities: Define platform blueprints, standards, and architectural best practices
Shape data architecture, storage, and platform data usage
Design scalable, robust, cost-productive services
Guide complex decisions across engineering teams
Document architecture and support technical roadmap planning
Requirements: Principal or Staff-level experience across multiple teams
Distributed systems and microservices architecture experience
Strong AWS and modern infrastructure practices experience
Proven data architecture experience with large data stores
Strong REST API design experience in multi-service environments
