Bell Media seeks a Senior Live Streaming Engineer Analyst in Toronto/GTHA, focused on AWS Media Services and reliable hybrid OTT platforms. This full time unionized position supports Bell Media’s Media Live Pipeline team. You will ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across live digital streaming services. The work spans video encoding, packaging, CDN delivery, telemetry, and technical support for production and staging environments. Key Responsibilities:

Deploy live streaming service flows across staging and production Monitor and optimize AWS MediaLive and MediaPackage pipelines Troubleshoot HLS, DASH, and SRT streaming issues Optimize delivery with Fastly, CloudFront, and Akamai partners Support DRM, SSAI Live, and QoS monitoring systems Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience Five-plus years in digital media or live streaming operations Expertise in HLS, MPEG-DASH, CMAF, and streaming codecs Proficiency with AWS Media Services for live video Python, Bash, PagerDuty, New Relic, and troubleshooting tools Apply live streaming engineering, AWS, and diagnostic expertise to Bell Media’s Toronto-based hybrid pipeline team.
