Terus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking a Ready Mix Operations Manager to join our team in Kitimat, BC.

The Ready Mix Operations Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the Concrete Supply to Large Infrastructure Project in Kitimat, BC., The role oversees all aspects of plant operations, dispatch, logistics, fleet coordination, production planning, quality control, safety, maintenance, and workforce management to ensure concrete products are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer specifications and project requirements. The Operations Manager provides day-to-day leadership and coordination across concrete production, dispatch, logistics, fleet,



quality control, maintenance, materials, and workforce planning. The role serves as the central operational point of accountability for coordinating the resources required to successfully execute concrete supply commitments across multiple projects and customers. This position requires a strong understanding of ready-mix concrete operations and the ability to manage a complex, high-demand project environment where production requirements, pour schedules, specifications, delivery requirements, and customer priorities can change rapidly. Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide

single-point operational leadership for concrete supply operations

to large infrastructure projects and ensure Terus consistently delivers on its contractual commitments. Success in the role is measured by the ability to:

Deliver concrete safely and without operational incidents. Meet customer pour schedules and delivery commitments. Consistently produce concrete meeting required specifications. Coordinate multiple contracts, customers, projects, and concrete mix requirements. Maintain sufficient plant, fleet, material, equipment, and workforce capacity. Anticipate operational constraints before they impact customer projects. Respond quickly and effectively to production, quality, equipment, logistics, or scheduling issues. Maintain reliable communication between Terus operations, customers, contractors,



and project teams. Execute the work efficiently while maintaining appropriate operational and cost controls. The Operations Manager is expected to maintain a detailed understanding of upcoming project requirements and ensure the business is operationally prepared to meet both daily and longer-term concrete demand. Key Accountabilities

Concrete Supply & Operational Execution

Lead the day-to-day execution of all concrete production and delivery activities supporting large infrastructure project and associated projects. Ensure concrete orders are produced and delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and in accordance with customer requirements. Maintain oversight of daily and upcoming pour schedules across all active contracts. Coordinate plant production, dispatch, trucking, materials, quality control, maintenance, and labour requirements. Establish explicit operating plans for major pours and periods of high concrete demand. Multi-Contract & Customer Coordination

Maintain operational oversight of all active concrete supply contracts associated with arge infrastructure project and related construction activities. Understand the specific requirements of each contract, including concrete specifications, volumes, schedules, delivery requirements, testing requirements, and service expectations. Maintain clear visibility of upcoming concrete demand across all contracts. Participate in customer and contractor planning meetings as required. Ensure changes to pour schedules, volumes, specifications, or project requirements are communicated quickly to the appropriate operational teams.
