CIMA+ seeks a Transmission Lines Engineer for its Energy & Resources team. You will design overhead lines, structures, foundations, and associated facilities from 60kV to 500kV. The role includes project documentation, design packages, technical support, field reviews, and leadership under the T&D; Lines Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities: Design high-voltage overhead lines and associated electric utility facilities
Design wood, steel, and lattice transmission structures
Design transmission line structure foundations
Prepare documents, drawings, reports, specifications, and estimates




Lead projects and support junior engineers
Requirements: University degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum five years of transmission project experience
Professional Engineering registration in Canada
Proficiency with design software, CAD systems, and drawing standards
Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities
Bring transmission design, engineering judgment, project leadership, and technical communication skills to CIMA+’s Canadian infrastructure team.
