Reporting to the SVP, Controller, this senior leadership position oversees accounting and controllership functions. You will guide close processes, internal controls, audits, finance transformation, and systems enhancements. The role supports a growing Canadian financial services organization with consumer financing products.
Key Responsibilities: Lead corporate accounting, disbursements, assets, inventory, vendors, and expenses
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Strengthen IFRS policies, controls, and financial governance
Coordinate external audits and resolve control deficiencies




Develop the accounting team and promote operational excellence
Requirements: Ten-plus years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Significant leadership experience in complex, multi-entity environments
Solid technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS
Experience with audits, internal controls, and financial governance
Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex accounting matters
Apply accounting leadership, IFRS expertise, and controls experience to strengthen a national financial services organization in Mississauga.
