This position supervises assigned crews and coordinates daily drilling activities. It requires leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The Walking Boss supports safe, productive work while meeting company, client, CommonCore, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Champion safety culture and lead by example
Supervise daily underground drilling activities
Assign work and manage crew schedules
Conduct inspections, audits, and safety meetings
Coach crews and provide performance feedback
Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Minimum four years underground mining or diamond drilling experience
Previous leadership, supervisory, or crew lead experience
Valid driver's license and underground work ability
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
