Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial, the Associate Vice President, Business Development joins Agilent Advanced Therapeutics’ Executive Leadership Team. Lead growth for microbial fermentation, small molecule manufacturing, HPAPI, bioreagents, cell line development, and GMP services. Support biotech and pharmaceutical clients.
Key Responsibilities: Execute AAT’s CDMO business growth strategy
Secure new biotech and pharmaceutical business opportunities
Lead negotiations, contract structures, and strategic partnerships




Develop value propositions with cross-functional Canadian teams
Forecast performance and provide business updates
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemistry, biotechnology, or related field
10+ years of CDMO or biopharmaceutical business development leadership
Technical understanding of stated manufacturing modalities
Record of closing high-value deals and growing revenue
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Use CDMO expertise, commercial leadership, and strategic partnerships to expand Agilent Advanced Therapeutics’ manufacturing business.
