This senior counsel role advises Product, Risk, Technology, Distribution, and Marketing functions. You will apply corporate law, insurance products knowledge, market conduct requirements, rate filings, and underwriting practices. The position supports Allstate Canada Group’s regulated insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic legal counseling aligned with business objectives
Support insurance product development and rate filings
Advise Product and Distribution on policy interpretation
Review regulatory requests and market conduct compliance
Liaise with regulators on regulatory inquiries
Requirements: Canadian law degree or equivalent qualification
Membership in a Canadian law society
At least five years of insurance or corporate law experience
Experience working in a highly regulated workplace
Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance
Bring insurance law, regulatory compliance, and strategic counseling expertise to Allstate’s fully remote legal team across Canada.
