Our client, a well-established law firm in Quebec, is seeking a lawyer with at least 7 years of experience in commercial and construction litigation to join its team.
This opportunity is ideal for a legal professional looking to take ownership of their files while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The Role You will be responsible for managing a variety of commercial and construction litigation matters, including:
Advising and representing clients in commercial disputes and construction-related litigation
Developing legal strategies tailored to the specific issues of each case
Drafting legal opinions, demand letters, and court proceedings
Preparing and conducting examinations and representing clients before the courts
Participating in negotiations and negotiating out-of-court settlements
Independently managing files while maintaining solid client relationships
Contributing to the growth of the practice and business development initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec




Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial and construction litigation
Experience in professional liability litigation is considered an asset
Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
Strong command of French, both written and spoken
Ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
Interest in client development and business growth
