Stantec seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Team Leader for its multidisciplinary Buildings team. This position combines people management with technical leadership across complex building projects. Apply HVAC, plumbing, Revit, AutoCAD, and code knowledge while collaborating with clients, contractors, and design professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Manage workload, assignments, staffing needs, and resource planning
Lead HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system design
Develop scopes, budgets, schedules, and staffing plans
Mentor staff through technical guidance, training, and coaching
Review construction documentation,



submittals, and technical deliverables
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program
Alberta Skilled Engineer licensure required
Minimum 12 years of building mechanical engineering experience
Experience delivering large or technically complex building projects
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and load software
