Stantec seeks a Project Engineer for its Canadian Mining, Minerals and Metals team. This role supports studies, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning. You will coordinate technical execution, engineering inputs, schedules, budgets, and client communication across project phases.
Key Responsibilities: Direct engineering and design teams through project phases
Coordinate technical execution with project management
Monitor engineering budgets, progress, and schedules
Manage engineering-related change processes
Review deliverables for safety and constructability
Requirements: Degree or diploma in a mining-related technical field
At least five years' heavy industry experience
Experience in surface or underground mining
Previous Project Engineer experience on engineering projects
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
Apply mining engineering, project coordination, and technical execution skills across Stantec projects serving Canadian clients.
