As a Senior Consultant, Full Stack Developer, you will support CIBC’s Core Banking and Payments Technology team. You will develop, test, and support cross-functional, multi-platform applications for complex payment assignments. Your work will translate business requirements into secure, integrated solutions aligned with the technology roadmap.
Key Responsibilities: Design backend services and REST APIs using Go and Java
Develop and test complex payment-related computer programs
Build full-stack solutions integrating systems, data sources, and APIs
Coordinate technical design and application system integration

Requirements: Five-plus years supporting card-issuing payment systems
Familiarity with VISA, Mastercard, and card transaction lifecycles
Eight-plus years integrating APIs and event-driven systems
Strong relational database knowledge, including schema design and migrations
Familiarity with secure API design, Git, and cooperative workflows
