Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Secret Cleared Quality Assurance Specialist/Analyst (10+ years) to execute testing strategies using SDLC methodologies, Agile practices, and QA testing processes This role supports complex IT testing initiatives within a Government of Canada environment.

The position focuses on test planning, test execution, traceability management, defect tracking, and validation activities across multifaceted projects using SDLC methodologies, Agile delivery, and QA testing processes.

The successful resource will collaborate with SMEs, business stakeholders, and development teams while contributing to regression, functional, integration, automated, and cloud-based testing activities.

Contract, Onsite Must Haves 10+ years as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist/Analyst in an IT environment 10+ years performing Regression Testing , functional testing,



and integration testing 10+ years utilizing SDLC methodologies or ISTQB conventions in QA testing activities Professional experience developing Traceability Matrices and preparing test cases and test data Professional proficiency in English or French with client reference validation Professional work experience performing automated testing Professional work experience testing applications hosted in a cloud workplace Professional work experience writing test cases using SQL, APEX, XML, or JSON Professional work experience applying Agile methodology within a collaborative team Professional work experience testing web applications for Treasury Board web standards compliance including accessibility, usability, and interoperability Responsibilities Develop and update test plans, strategies, procedures, and test cases including manual and automated scripts Execute test plans and validate outcomes across cross-functional project teams Analyze and document test results and software defects in JIRA or similar test management tools Ensure traceability between test cases, defects, and business requirements Collaborate with functional leads, SMEs, stakeholders, and development teams to validate requirements and resolve issues Participate in scrum meetings and support testing activities within an Agile environment Monitor QA metrics including defect density and open defect counts
