Job Description
Why Onni Capital Most controller roles are maintenance. You inherit a system, a team, a close calendar, and a set of decisions someone else made years ago. This one is construction. Onni Capital invests its own capital. There is no fundraising cycle and no external limited partners with conflicting reporting demands. That means you are building a reporting system designed to actually inform decisions rather than to satisfy a compliance checklist. You will sit close to the transactions. When we buy a construction services business or convert an industrial site into a data centre, you are in the room for the structuring conversation, not receiving the file after close. The purchase price allocation, the opening balance sheet, and the earnout mechanics are yours to get right. The businesses we start are yours to set up properly from day one, before bad habits form. That is unusual, and it is the part of the job that compounds. What You Will Do
