· Experience in Acute Care required · Emergency Department Intensive Care and Operating Room Experience is an asset · Basic ECG interpretation and 12 lead ECG application and interpretation preferred · Leadership, critical thinking, organizational and communication skills are required · Strong communication skills and ability to work with all members of the multidisciplinary team. · Expertise in developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all members of the health care team and partner organizations · Self-motivated and life-long learner with strong health assessments and clinical skills · Capacity to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment · Willing to assist in all clinical areas when needed, including in the Operating Room as the OR Assist · Committed to excellence in patient care · Self-motivated and commitment to excellence in patient care. · Demonstrated solid primary care clinical assessment skills to full NP scope of practice. · Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. · Must be willing to provide support to all other departments as required. · Must have valid Driver’s license & own transportation. · Bilingualism in English and French is preferred.
