Our client is seeking an accomplished

General Manager

to lead a full-service hotel in Vancouver area British Columbia, featuring restaurants and bars. For the right individual, this role offers the opportunity to combine branded-hotel experience with sales and entrepreneurial leadership and make a significant impact in the Vancouver market. entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility of an independent operation . The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the hotel's operations, financial performance, sales strategy, guest experience, and food & beverage outlets. A major focus of the role will be

growing revenue and profitability . The successful candidate will be expected to be active in the market, develop key relationships, generate new business, and work closely with the team to maximize rooms and F&B; performance. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys

selling, building relationships, developing people, and creating a solid hotel culture .

sales and business-development orientation

and a track record of generating hotel business. Previous experience as a

General Manager or senior hotel leader

in a full-service property. Experience with a

city-center, urban, or high-volume hotel

in British Columbia or elsewhere in Canada. Strong

food & beverage experience , including restaurants, bars, banquets, or catering. Solid financial and commercial skills, including P&L; management, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization. Experience working within a

branded hotel environment , combined with the ability to operate effectively in an independent setting. A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and the confidence to be highly visible with guests, employees, clients, and the local business community. Strong leadership skills and a genuine ability to develop and motivate people. Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
