**Warehouse Worker**
**Job Description**
Join the team at the Ecommerce distribution center located in SE Calgary, where you will be cross-trained in all departments of the warehouse.

The fulfillment center is automated, requiring computer knowledge and a keen attention to detail.

You will be using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as power pallets, reach forklifts, or order pickers.

Be prepared for heavy lifting, as items can weigh up to 50 lbs.

Team lifts will be necessary for heavier items. MHE training is provided on the first day, with an 80% pass requirement for progression.
**Responsibilities**
Operate Material Handling Equipment for up to 10 hours per day.

Perform repetitive and heavy lifting tasks.

Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while fulfilling duties.

Work with minimal supervision.

Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
**Essential Skills**
Computer operation proficiency.

Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently.

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an MHE License.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Familiarity with RF Scanners, inventory management, loading and unloading, and material handling.

Experience with forklifts, order picking, and general labor tasks.

Preferred warehouse experience, though training will be provided.

High School diploma or equivalent.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean Ecommerce facility in SE Calgary equipped with advanced automated picking systems.

The non-convoy department involves manual work and forklifts, handling heavier products.

The convoy department is automated, focusing on picking tasks.

Utilize Centre Riders and Crown Machines.

Work shifts are 10 hours long, typically 3 days a week, with flexibility to increase to 4 days during busy times.

Peak season runs from October to January,



with potential for a 5th shift.

Overtime is available after 44 hours in a week.

Communication for additional shifts occurs through an app or email.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.
**Pay and Advantages**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
