Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Manager to support a large construction company on a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.

This role is based 5 days a week on-site in the Mississauga/Toronto area and will support a portfolio of major commercial, water, and transit construction projects.

The Project Controls Manager will oversee 4 employees and project controls activities across the region, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost management.

This individual will act as the InEight SME, training Project Managers and project teams on best practices while providing leadership through dashboards, reporting, and portfolio-level insights.

The ideal candidate has strong construction project controls experience, previous people leadership experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with both project teams and senior leadership.

Skills and Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in Project Controls, Cost Controls, or a related discipline
• Previous people leadership experience, including managing project controls or cost controls personnel
• Strong experience using InEight
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and project reporting
• Experience developing dashboards and presenting project performance to leadership
• Construction industry experience supporting large capital projects




• Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience training and mentoring Project Managers and project teams
• Experience working for large construction contractors
• Experience supporting commercial, water, infrastructure, or transit projects
• Experience supporting a portfolio of multiple projects simultaneously
• PMP, AACE, CCP, or other Project Controls-related certifications
• Engineering, Construction Management, or related post-secondary education
