**Job Title: Packager**
**Job Description**
The role involves working at a site that receives large orders of gases and repackages them into smaller containers for a diverse range of clients.

As a packager, you will play a key part in ensuring efficient and accurate repackaging processes.
**Responsibilities**
Load cylinders onto racks and fill them using machines.

Label cylinders accurately.

Utilize pneumatic lifts to handle cylinders.

Use a computer to validate gas pressure levels and consult work orders.

Operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift to move materials.
**Essential Skills**
Mechanical aptitude, particularly with compressors and pneumatics.

Proficiency in documentation and basic computer skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Forklift operation skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience with pneumatic lifts and labeling.

Knowledge in chemical packaging.

**Work Environment**
The facility is a specialty supplier of reused gas and has recently opened its first location in Canada.

It specializes in repurposing gases from decommissioned chillers and selling them as new.

The work workplace is state-of-the-art, clean, and brightly lit.

The work schedule is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided for certain procedures, such as filling and testing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dartmouth, NS.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
