Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Kubernetes / Cloud Platform Engineer for a 1-year contract chance.
This role can be fully remote across Canada and will support the deployment, administration, automation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise Kubernetes environments across public cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on Kubernetes expertise, advanced troubleshooting experience, and the ability to work effectively within a global 24x7 support model.
Skills and Requirements
- 8–10 years of relevant infrastructure/cloud engineering experience
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience, including AKS, EKS, GKE, Open
Shift, and/or on-prem Kubernetes
- Strong Kubernetes troubleshooting and production support experience
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, load balancing, RBAC, network policies, and container security
- Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
- Python, Bash/Shell, and/or Power
Shell scripting
- CI/CD experience with Azure Dev
Ops or Git
Lab
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Red Hat Open
Shift experience
- Argo CD experience
- Admission controllers and Kubernetes policy tooling
- Ansible/configuration management experience
- Kubernetes certification
