We are a friendly family in Mississauga with four school-going kids. We are looking for a kind, gentle and patient nanny to work with our 7 year old autistic son. He is mostly non-verbal but can say words and short phrases to tell you his basic needs.
As his nanny, you can engage with him in a playful and loving way, and prevent him from running out or getting hurt. He requires assistance with most daily routines and activities, such as toileting, snacks, changing, getting snacks or meals etc.

He loves walks and going to the park. You should be athletic and able to run after an energetic boy!

Your timings can be for about 3 hours daily during weekdays, but flexibility would be great as we may need help on the weekends as well.

Since safety is very important to us, we would ideally want someone with CPR certification and background checks.

If you're a student of special-ed or looking for experience with neurodiverse kids, please let me know and we will try to make sure you're comfortable and can be a positive fit for our family.
