Housekeeper Posting - Glebe Area We are a senior couple seeking a kind, reliable housekeeper to support us in our one-bedroom apartment. The role involves light cleaning, tidying, and light meal preparation. We would appreciate someone familiar with Caribbean-style cooking. My husband is living with dementia, so we are looking for someone who is patient, calm, and comfortable interacting with individuals who may have memory or cognitive challenges. This role does not involve personal care; the focus is household support and light cooking. **Schedule:** Twice a week to start, approximately 2-3 hours per visit. Additional hours may be added over time if needed. **Responsibilities:** - Light cleaning and general tidying (kitchen, bathrooms, floors, unload/load dishwasher, dusting, light laundry, etc.) - Light meal prep and cooking (dinner only) - Supportive, gentle interaction with a family member with dementia **Preferences:** - Familiarity with Caribbean cooking - Experience working with seniors - Someone dependable, warm, and respectful **Compensation:** Salary is negotiable based on experience and comfort with the role.
