We're a busy family of three (plus a cat) in Trinity Bellwoods looking for a reliable, detail-oriented household helper to keep our home running smoothly day to day. This is household help, not housecleaning or childcare. The work is about keeping things tidy and in order: emptying the dishwasher, giving the counters a quick wipe, folding laundry, putting things back where they belong. No scrubbing bathrooms or deep cleaning. Schedule Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00-11:00 am. These days and hours are fixed, and we count on you being on time each shift. A great fit for someone who lives nearby and wants a few steady hours a week. Every visit, without exception: - Scoop the cat litter. This one is a must, every single visit. - Empty the dishwasher and reset the kitchen after breakfast, including hand-washing anything that doesn't go in the dishwasher - Fold and put away clean laundry, including sorting and putting away kids' clothes - Tidy living areas: pick up, fold blankets, put cushions back - Tidy the play area and put toys away - Reset the entryway: shoes, coats, bags - Empty bins and take them out as needed Other tasks may include: - Wash and swap kitchen and bath towels - Restock toilet paper, paper towels and other basics, and keep a running “we're low on” list - Break down boxes and packaging - Unpack grocery deliveries - Light food prep, like chopping vegetables or marinating meat - Change bed sheets - Clear out the fridge - Organize closets and other spaces - Water plants - Tidy the small backyard: sweep leaves,



straighten outdoor cushions and furniture - Quick local errands, like library returns or a few grocery items We'll work out a routine together, and priorities beyond the every-visit list may shift week to week. Good to know: - Our home has stairs, and the role involves carrying laundry up and down. - We provide all supplies. - Our child usually won't be home during your shifts, but may be on occasion. - Please give us a week's notice for planned absences, and let us know as early as you can if you're ever unwell.
