Solution Architect – Enterprise Integration
to own the target integration architecture connecting a SaaS platform with a complex enterprise ecosystem.
You will define the integration patterns, API and event contracts, data mappings, identity flows, and coexistence architecture required to connect multiple enterprise platforms. This is an
architecture and design role rather than a hands-on development role , working closely with client architects, data governance and compliance stakeholders, and the engineering team.
You Will :
Own the target integration architecture across the SaaS platform, customer-facing domain, and connected enterprise systems, including customer/profile, ECM, marketing, messaging/notification, and CRM/workspace platforms.
Determine when to use synchronous request/response APIs versus asynchronous/event-driven integration and define the appropriate patterns.
Design for distributed-system concerns including message ordering, duplicate and out-of-order delivery, retries, idempotency, backpressure, dead-letter handling, and schema/version evolution.
Define message models, API contracts, and orchestration patterns for new business APIs and integrations with existing enterprise APIs.
Define the canonical data-mapping strategy between the SaaS platform and enterprise canonical/reference data, working with data architecture and MDM teams.
Design event models and messaging topology, including producers, consumers, topics/queues, and downstream event processing using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
Design identity and access flows, including SSO, deep linking, contextual identifiers, and role-based access to client data.
Define the coexistence architecture between legacy and current SaaS platforms during phased transition.
Present and defend architecture decisions with client architecture, data governance, security, and compliance stakeholders, acting as the technical bridge between business requirements and engineering implementation.
Who You Are :
You have
10+ years of solution or integration architecture experience , with significant experience connecting disparate enterprise systems.
You have deep practical knowledge of
event-driven and decoupled architectures , including Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies and pub/sub and queue-based patterns.
You understand the architectural trade-offs between
synchronous APIs and asynchronous/event-driven integration
and can determine the appropriate pattern based on business and technical requirements.
You have designed solutions addressing distributed-system challenges such as retries, idempotency, duplicate/out-of-order messages, dead-letter handling, backpressure, and contract/schema evolution.
You have experience defining and governing
REST/OpenAPI contracts
that development teams implement against.
You have experience with domain-driven, multi-domain enterprise architectures within large or regulated organizations.
You understand canonical/reference-data mapping and integration with
MDM or enterprise reference-data platforms .
You have strong client-facing communication skills and are comfortable presenting and defending architecture decisions with architects, security, data governance, and compliance stakeholders.
