Job Description
Position: Warehouse Worker
Location: Laval, QC H7L 4S3
Client: Leading Tools Manufacturing Industry
Duration: 6 months
Payrate: $20hr
Shift: Shift: 8am to 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
* Unpack incoming customer shipments and prepare tools for repair.
* Record received items accurately using the SAP system; training will be provided.
* Prepare and package outbound shipments with proper documentation and labeling.
* Complete hazardous materials (Hazmat) paperwork for applicable shipments.
* Assist with inventory control and organize spare parts and packaging materials.
* Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S and LEAN practices.
* Follow all safety procedures and handle hazardous materials properly.
* Support team goals, meet performance targets, and perform other assigned duties.
- Work Environment
* Climate-controlled warehouse with heating and air conditioning.
* Workshop environment may include noise, dust, and other particles.
Safety Requirements
* Follow all applicable workplace safety regulations.
* Wear steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, and other required protective equipment.
* Properly label and handle hazardous materials.
Physical Requirements
* Regularly lift 50 lbs. or more,



with occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
* Operate material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks.
* Assist with truck loading and unloading.
* Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and ladder climbing.
Required Skills
* Basic computer skills and comfort using software tools.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Effective verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Robust sense of responsibility, integrity, and urgency.
* Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
