About Us

Minuteman Press East Vancouver is a locally operated, full-service printing company serving businesses, organizations and individuals since 2011. We produce a wide range of printed products using digital printing, large-format printing and finishing equipment.

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Print Production Operator with experience in digital printing, prepress and graphic design. This is an significant role in our daily operations, working on a variety of customer projects from file preparation through final production.

What You'll Do

- Operate digital printing equipment and large-format printers.
- Prepare, inspect and troubleshoot files before printing.
- Use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop to prepare and edit customer artwork.
- Set up jobs correctly and check print quality, colour, registration and finishing requirements.
- Operate finishing equipment and assist with cutting, folding, binding and other post-press work.
- Identify and resolve production issues to minimize waste and keep jobs on schedule.
- Assist customers by phone, email and in person when needed, including answering questions, taking orders and helping with basic quotations.
- Keep the production area organized and equipment in good working condition.

What We're Looking For

- At least 2 years of experience in digital print production, prepress or a related commercial printing environment.




- Good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Illustrator; Photoshop experience is also important.
- Practical understanding of print-ready files, bleeds, resolution, colour, imposition and production requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Good troubleshooting, organizational and time-management skills.
- Reliable, responsible and able to work independently as well as with a small team.
- Comfortable communicating with customers and helping with different tasks in a busy print shop.

Experience with large-format printing and finishing equipment is an asset.
