SSD Sawmill Sales Direct LTD is looking for a labourer for the walk-in lumber yard and a labourer in the Sawmill

We are a medium sized privately-owned Sawmill, in business since 2002, we have never shut down or laid employees off because of lack of work

- Hours are 8:00 to 4:30 Monday to Friday.
- Full-time starting wage at $21 dollars per hour
- Wages go up in direct relationship to competencies. If you try hard, work hard, we will pay you for it
- Bonus twice per year starting at $250 dollars going up $250 dollars every six months to a maximum of $1,000
- One week off with pay at Christmas, in addition to allowable holiday time.
- Any unexpected shutdown is covered at company’s expense, examples are snow days, power outages, and windstorms

Job Duties

- Building Fence Panels
- Assist customers by providing information about products and offerings
- Assisting customers with loading orders
- Picking and preparing orders in a timely manner
- Be familiar with product offerings and inventory
- Cleaning and Organizing the Walk-In Lumber Yard
- Working in the Sawmill (for example, log wash, green chain, resaw mill etc.)




- Additional duties and assignments as assigned by management.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
