Scholars of Pointe-Claire is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic part time High School French Teacher, Tutor to join our team. As a teacher at Scholars, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students, both personally and academically. Tasks:

- Teach French literature up to grade 12, with a focus on grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary and writing.
- Provide individualized instruction to students, tailoring teaching methods to suit their needs.
- Teach groups of up to 3 students in a structured learning environment.
- Engage with students to help them reach their potential, providing guidance and support where needed.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of student progress.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support the overall operation of the business and the success of students.

Here’s what we’re looking for:





- Candidates currently pursuing a teaching education leading to a teaching license, or a university undergraduate and graduate degree in education, math, or sciences, are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of the Québec Education Program (QEP) at the secondary level is an asset.
- Previous experience working with students.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English, French, or both.
- A passion to help students reach their potential.
- Exceptionally organized with high attention to detail.
- Availability to work a minimum of two shifts per week within the following hours: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm; Saturdays, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Hourly rate: $18-$20/hour based on experience, with optional access to a group benefit program.
