Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buncher Operator to join our team and contribute to productive land clearing and forestry operations. In this role, you will operate specialized equipment to organize and bundle logs, timber, or other materials, ensuring safe and productive workflows. Your mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and ability to handle heavy machinery will be essential to success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in dynamic environments while maintaining a focus on safety, precision, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as bunchers, skidders, or related machinery to efficiently gather and bundle logs or materials according to project specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment, including power tools and construction machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Use hand tools and power tools for minor repairs or adjustments as needed during operations
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks around work sites to promote safety and environmental compliance
- Apply mechanical knowledge and construction experience to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all phases of operation, including proper handling of tools and machinery
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow,



maintain accurate logs, and ensure timely completion of tasks

Experience

- Prior experience operating heavy construction or forestry equipment such as bunchers or similar machinery is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Construction background with familiarity in land clearing or forestry projects is advantageous
- Experience in landscape maintenance or working outdoors in variable conditions is a plus
- Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) can be beneficial for site mapping and planning purposes
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience with commercial driving is desirable for transporting equipment or materials
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 72.0 per week
