At Rilo, we design, build, and install custom Christmas lighting for homes across Oakville, and we've quickly grown into one of the biggest names in town.

This season we're looking for a few excellent people to join the crew: people who show up on time, love working outdoors, and get a kick out of standing on a roof while the rest of the world is stuck in traffic.

This isn't stringing lights off a cheap reel. Every display is hand-built and installed to a design, so we care about the details: straight lines, clean corners, zero shortcuts. If you take pride in your work, you'll fit right in.

The roles

Installer: You'll work in a crew of 2–3, hitting 3–7 homes a day. You'll build displays from blueprints, climb 32'+ ladders, work the peaks, and leave every homeowner amazed (and every property as clean as you found it).

Crew Lead: You'll run the day. Keep your crew safe, on schedule, and on standard, and be the person homeowners remember. If you've led a team before, or you're the one people naturally follow, this is your role.

What you get

- $25–$35/hour, based on experience and role
- Performance bonus, because great work should pay more
- Gas allowance
- End-of-season team trip to celebrate a season well done
- Full-time hours all season long

- A team that works hard, laughs a lot, and has each other's backs
- A real path up: top installers become Crew Leads

Who we're looking for

- Punctual, always. Crews and customers count on you, and on time means on time
- A true team player. You pitch in, communicate, and lift the crew up
- Totally comfortable at heights, on tall ladders and roof peaks
- Safety-first in everything you do
- A detail person who can't stand a crooked line
- Fine working outside in the cold (layers help, we promise)
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Valid driver's licence and your own vehicle
- Based in or within about 30 minutes of Oakville

Nice to have: experience in roofing, gutters, window cleaning, construction, or holiday lighting.

No experience? If you've got the right attitude and no fear of heights, we'll train you.
