Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee food service operations for events and daily catering needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food preparation, and excellent customer service abilities. This role involves supervising staff, managing food safety standards, and ensuring seamless execution of catering services in a rapid-paced environment. The Catering Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining high-quality food presentation, efficient team management, and exceptional guest experiences.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate catering staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Manage POS systems including Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Train and mentor team members on food safety, hygiene, and proper food handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards
- Assist with interviewing and hiring new team members to build a skilled workforce
- Coordinate with clients to customize menus and accommodate special dietary needs
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies,



and maintaining stock levels
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas in accordance with safety standards
- Lead by example in hospitality, serving guests professionally during events or service periods

Experience

- Proven supervisory experience in food service or restaurant management is preferred
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Demonstrated leadership skills in team management and staff training
- Background in hospitality, hotel service, bartending, or barista roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
- Previous experience in restaurant or catering environments is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
