Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing fuel and convenience store operations, and ensuring a safe and welcoming workplace for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a professional demeanor. Bilingual skills are a plus to assist a diverse customer base. This position offers an opportunity to develop retail and sales skills in a dynamic setting.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling vehicles efficiently
- Operate POS systems for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the convenience store and fuel area
- Restock shelves, merchandise products, and ensure product displays are attractive and well-organized
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience
- Handle customer inquiries, provide information about products and services, and address concerns promptly
- Monitor fuel levels and report maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently
- Use phone etiquette to assist customers over the phone when necessary

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience with retail sales, cashiering, or merchandising is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Familiarity with POS systems and technology sales is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and store presentation
- Effective time management to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during shifts
- Valuable communication skills for engaging with customers and team members
- Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively to maximize sales opportunities
- Professional appearance with strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
