Part time/ Full-Time Personal Support Worker/ HCA

A Homecare Services company is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Support Worker to provide full-time/ part-time support to a client in their private residence. We will also consider HCA for a HCA position.

Responsibilities

- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers and safe positioning
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
- Assist with eating and hydration
- Provide companionship and meaningful activities
- Accompany the client on walks or approved outings




- Complete light housekeeping related to the client’s care
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition
- Complete accurate daily care documentation
- Follow the client’s care plan and StayCare policies

Qualifications

- Personal Support Worker, caregiver or related training preferred
- Previous home-care or personal-care experience is an asset
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain, paid by employer)
- Current Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (paid by employer)
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Able to travel reliably to the client’s residence for every shift
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Dependable, respectful and able to work independently
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
