About the Position

We are seeking a reliable, experienced and self-motivated individual to assist with the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of our well-established seniors' apartment community in Lively.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, takes pride in their work and appreciates working in a friendly, respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs, including basic plumbing, carpentry, fixture replacements and troubleshooting.
- Assist with apartment turnovers, including patching, painting, minor renovations and preparing suites for new residents.
- Maintain outdoor areas throughout the seasons, including lawn cutting, trimming, gardening and general property cleanup.
- Perform winter maintenance, including snow shovelling, salting and maintaining safe pedestrian walkways and entrances.
- Respond to routine maintenance requests and assist with preventative building maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-presented property.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with residents and management.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in building maintenance, property care, renovations or a related hands-on field.
- Good general knowledge of basic repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently,



manage time effectively and take initiative.
- Dependable, punctual, organized and attentive to detail.
- Friendly, respectful and comfortable interacting with senior residents.
- Physically capable of performing routine maintenance and seasonal outdoor work.
- Ability to respond to early-morning snow conditions when required.
- Basic knowledge of building mechanical systems would be an asset.

- Competitive compensation of $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.
