We are currently looking for a Maintenance Associate to join our clients team at a busy Distribution Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for completing scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and making repairs to help keep daily operations running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

- Perform preventative maintenance on conveyor systems and other distribution equipment
- Diagnose and repair conveyor system equipment
- Diagnose and repair lift equipment
- Complete electrical troubleshooting and repairs, where applicable
- Perform general facility maintenance and repairs
- Complete general construction and maintenance tasks as required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Help keep the workplace safe, clean, and organized
- Provide general maintenance support and assist with facility-related duties
- Communicate effectively with team members through verbal, written, and computer-based communication
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Complete other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

- High school diploma or equivalent




- Vocational or technical school certificate is an asset
- 2+ years of previous maintenance experience preferred
- Experience repairing and maintaining distribution centre conveyor systems is an asset
- Mechanical trade experience is an asset
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is an asset
- Experience with MP2 maintenance software is an asset
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Safety-focused and reliable approach to work

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently reach, grip, handle, push, and pull equipment
- Lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Climb up to 36 stairs
- Frequently move throughout platform areas up to 45 feet above ground level
- Perform work requiring balance, bending, and neck movement
