Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our remote mine site locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, schematics, and industrial systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with all regulations. The Maintenance Electrician will play a critical role in supporting ongoing operations and ensuring the reliability of electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately perform maintenance tasks
- Maintain low voltage systems and ensure proper functioning of power distribution units
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively during installation and repair activities
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues before they lead to system failures
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components to minimize downtime
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and standards during work procedures




- Document maintenance activities and report any issues requiring further attention or escalation

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for complex electrical systems
- Demonstrated experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar maintenance role involving electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of low voltage wiring, power tools, hand tools, and construction practices related to electrical work
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Familiarity with safety standards related to electrical maintenance in industrial settings
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,580.14-$150,288.26 per year
