Habit&Kin; is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced cleaning professional who wants to build a future with us.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys caring for clients and their homes, and can lead others with kindness, confidence, and clear direction. You should be comfortable working independently, working alongside a team, and taking responsibility for the quality of the finished job.

Maybe you’ve been cleaning on your own and are tired of managing every part of the business yourself. Our owner started that way, too. Maybe you come from hospitality or customer service and bring robust housekeeping experience, an eye for detail, and a thoughtful approach to people.

We’re looking for someone who wants to stay, contribute, and grow into greater responsibility as the company grows.

What the role involves

- Providing thorough, consistent cleaning across recurring residential visits, deep cleans, and move-in/out cleans.
- Reading and following each client’s scope, priorities, property notes, and cleaning instructions.
- Leading by example while actively cleaning alongside the team.
- Helping organize the work so everyone understands their responsibilities and the time available.
- Checking your own work and the team’s work before leaving a property.
- Giving clear, respectful guidance and helping others develop their skills.
- Communicating promptly when something changes, a concern arises, or a job needs additional direction.
- Treating clients, teammates, homes, belongings, and equipment with care.

You can kindly and confidently guide a team, accept feedback,



and ask questions when something is unclear. You respect established procedures and contribute practical ideas to help improve them.

You understand that leadership includes doing the work, supporting the people beside you, and taking ownership of the result.

Mandatory requirements

A valid driver’s licence, a clean driver’s abstract, and the ability to pass a criminal record check are absolute requirements for this position at Habit&Kin.;

- A scheduling and timekeeping app where you can view your schedule, track your daily hours, and submit kilometres for reimbursement.
- A Monday–Friday and/or weekend work schedule and opportunities to take on more responsibility as your skills and the business grow.
