Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Prep Cook/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation for various menu items according to recipes and standards
- Cook dishes accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes to meet quality standards
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Support kitchen staff with meal assembly, garnishing, and portioning as needed




- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and maintain a positive work setting

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of serving protocols and meal presentation
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
