Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced server to provide attentive, welcoming service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in serving, hospitality, and guest services, communicates clearly, and can balance multiple tables while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, cleanliness, and food safety. Must be available evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, explain menu items, answer questions, and provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Take and enter orders accurately using a POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly, check in with guests, and respond professionally to requests or concerns.
- Use upselling techniques appropriately to enhance the guest experience.
- Process payments and maintain accuracy when cashiering and handling cash.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered correctly.
- Follow food handling, food safety, sanitation, and restaurant cleanliness procedures.
- Support food preparation and other service tasks as needed,



while following established kitchen practices.
- Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks during busy service periods

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience and restaurant experience required; experience in the broader food industry is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in serving, customer service, and guest services.
- Familiarity with POS systems; TOAST experience a plus
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with basic math, cashiering, and cash handling.
- Able to work collaboratively with front-of-house and kitchen teams; kitchen experience and familiarity with food preparation are beneficial.
- Professional, dependable, and attentive to detail, with a genuine interest in hospitality.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
