Ontario Mobile Truck Service has been serving the heavy truck and transportation industry since 1997. Over the years, we've built our reputation on quality repairs, dependable service and getting the job done right.

Our fabrication department continues to grow, and we're looking to add a skilled Welder/Fabricator to our team.

You'll be working alongside our lead fabricator on a wide range of projects, including heavy truck and trailer repairs, roll-off container rebuilds, structural steel repairs and custom fabrication.

We're not looking for someone to stand at a welding bench doing the same thing every day. Our work changes constantly, and we need someone who can think on their feet, take direction and take pride in what they turn out.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- MIG and flux-core welding on a variety of steel components.
- Fabricating and repairing roll-off containers, recycling bins and heavy equipment.
- Assisting with structural steel fabrication and repairs.
- Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling steel components.
- Operating plasma cutters, torches, grinders, saws and other fabrication equipment.
- Reading drawings and working from measurements or existing components.
- Building and repairing doors, hinges, brackets, supports and reinforcements.
- Working alongside our lead fabricator to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Keeping your work area clean, organized and safe.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Previous welding and fabrication experience, preferably 2–3 years or more.
- Good MIG welding skills. Flux-core experience would be an asset.
- The ability to measure accurately, fit steel properly and produce clean, consistent welds.




- Experience with heavy steel fabrication, trucks, trailers or industrial equipment would be an advantage.
- Someone who can follow direction but doesn't need to be told every little thing.
- A dependable employee who shows up, puts in an honest day's work and takes pride in the finished product.
- Someone willing to learn, improve their skills and become a valuable part of our fabrication team.

We don't expect you to know everything walking through the door. What matters is having a solid foundation, a good attitude and the willingness to keep getting better.

- $25–$33 per hour, depending on experience.
