Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services. Prior hospital or pharmacy technician experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration. Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling prescriptions accurately
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering medication guidance under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including restocking supplies and verifying medication stock levels
- Maintain detailed records of medication transactions and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure all pharmacy operations adhere to safety protocols and legal requirements
- Support medication administration processes as needed, including documentation and patient education




- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and medication management

Skills

- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in prescription processing and record keeping
- Compassionate patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and confidentiality
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools
- Certification as a registered pharmacy technician is required or pending licensure completion

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
