Customer-Centric Approach Drive Factory Delivery: Provide technical enablement, operational support and strategic engagement across customer projects in the Azure Application Migrations Factory. Make sure AI and migration solutions are delivered successfully. Understand the Customer: Build a transparent understanding of each customer's data estate, business priorities and IT success measures. Use this to deliver AI-powered solutions that create real business value. Lead Technical Program Management: Use a factory model to deliver at scale. Build awareness of the program and demand for it across the regional operating units. Monitor Engagements: Attend status meetings for active projects to track progress, spot risks early and identify where support is needed. Handle Complex Use Cases: Work directly on complex or non-standard customer scenarios that go beyond existing accelerators. Shape Intake: Take part in intake reviews covering milestone sizing, objection handling and technical scoping. Ensure Solution Excellence: Deliver solutions that are high-performing, secure, scalable, maintainable, reusable and reliable. Gather insights from customers and partners to keep improving. Apply Operational Insight: Use consumption metrics to measure how well the program is working. Build Repeatable IP: Create and contribute reusable assets that speed up deployment and increase the value customers get from their Unified investment. Evaluate Pilots: Assess pilot opportunities and recommend which ones to add to existing offerings. Architect Azure Solutions: Design Azure Infrastructure and Azure Application Migrations solutions that fit business and IT needs. Build technical roadmaps, lead proofs of concept (POCs)
and minimum viable products (MVPs), and make sure solutions stay technically sound over the long term. Advocate for Customers: Share insights and best practices. Work with the Factory team to remove key blockers and influence product improvements, roadmaps and feature priorities. Resolve Technical Blockers: Debug issues and provide fixes for engagements that are stuck. Learn Continuously: Keep up with market trends, work with the Analytics & AI technical community, and teach customers about GitHub Copilot and the Azure AI platform. Accelerate Outcomes: Work with field teams to share expertise, build the Factory pipeline and promote the Factory program. Collect feedback after each engagement and use field input to improve how the program runs. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 4+ years' experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or Business Applications consulting OR equivalent experience. Breadth of technical experience and knowledge in foundational security, foundational AI, architecture design,
with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following: Deep Domain Expertise in Azure Application Migrations Areas: Domain expertise in one of the Azure Infrastructure and Azure Application Migrations specific areas OR hands-on experience working with the respective products at the expert level. Programming Languages and Integration: Knowledge with Java, .NET, JavaScript, Python or similar programming languages in the context of application development, and ability to integrate GitHub Copilot and Azure AI with other services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Docker, API Management). Also, enterprise-scale technical experience and depth with one or more areas of the Azure Infrastructure and Azure Application Migrations (Azure core technologies including Apps, compute, networking, storage, and databases, along with identity, security, and monitoring services for cloud solutions.) Architecting Enterprise-Grade Solutions: The ability to create and explain 3-tier architecture diagrams, system context diagrams, system interaction diagrams, etc. Proven experience building enterprise-grade, Azure Infrastructure and Azure Application -focused solutions on the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) for customers, from Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) leading to production deployments. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Deployment: Understanding of Bicep, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager and familiarity with configuration and deployment of IaC templates in a secure environment. Competitive Landscape: Understanding the competitive landscape is valuable, candidates should be aware of key AI platforms beyond Azure, such as AWS and GCP.
